Department Description
The Corporate Affairs department is a global function responsible for the high level oversight and coordination of all external and internal activities impacting Fidelity International’s brand and reputation. As one of its core activities, the team is responsible for engaging with the company’s employees worldwide and promotes understanding of Fidelity’s vision, values, strategy and business plans as well as sharing insights into our clients, products and services – with the aim of building and strengthening employee engagement and affinity and affiliation to our clients and brand.
In addition to the Corporate Communications function, Corporate Affairs is responsible for Employee Communications, Corporate Marketing, Talent Management and Editorial.
Purpose of your role
Corporate Communications is a global function with teams structured under respective heads for Europe and Asia Pacific. This role reports to the Corporate Communications Manager in Taiwan and work works closely with local team. As an intern of Corporate Communications in Taiwan, you will be responsible to support the execution of media strategy for corporate profile, thought leadership and investment expertise. The candidate will work closely with our regional team to understand business priority and need to havetactical skills on execution. Internally, you will be responsible for the coordination and execution on local commitment programme, as well as some ad hoc employee communications initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
To support Corporate Communications on media engagement, translation and copy writing
To support regional corporate communications programmes and projects in Greater China
To support the filing and reporting of the function
To support the planning and executive of local community engagement programme, and reporting of these initiatives
Experience and Qualifications Required
Excellent communications skills
Outstanding language skill (Chinese/English, written and oral)
Understanding of the financial market
Good common sense
Able to work under tight timeline and in an environment of collaboration
Passionate and flexible
Strong analytical skill
