ROLE SUMMARY
· The role will be part of the Multi-Asset Investments function. The selected candidate will support the analytics and investment responsibility within the team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Supports and improves the research & trading effort by assisting in the portfolio oversight effort and by improving the availability, and visibility of data and analysis, thereby improving investment decisions, investment policy decisions and investment compliance.
· Assist the investment manager in streamlining the investment workflow.
· Helps the team to improve new methods of gathering, analysing, presenting and reporting investment performance, performance attribution, portfolio management processes, portfolio analytics, trading analytics.
· Maintains a superior level of accuracy and quality control at all times.
· Assists with the creation, processes and distribution of reports, presentations, charts, graphs and data extracts.
· Verifies the accuracy of data in various monthly and quarterly reports produced by the team.
· Responds to specific requests for investment and portfolio-related data.
· Assist with building and maintenance of quantitative research database.
REQUIREMENTS
Education
· Excellent academic background in an appropriate concentration.
· Finance & statistics student or senior student at his/her last year of bachelor/master program is preferred.
Experience
· Have prior experience in the Financial Service Industry is a plus.
Other Skills
· General knowledge of financial market and multiple asset classes such as equity, bond, fx, etc.
· Strong programing skills, specifically using Matlab/Excel VBA is a must.
· Strong analytical skills.
· Extensive experiences in using Word, PowerPoint.
· Ability to comfortably work with structured and unstructured datasets.
· Ability to bring new perspectives and will be passionate to apply those to financial markets.
· Mature, energetic, self-motivated and passionate to have investment analytics as a career.
