CIB Sales and Marketing
CIB Sales & Marketing professionals help corporate and institutional clients navigate the breadth of the J.P. Morgan’s product offerings across Markets and Investor Services. The teams focus on matching the firm’s resources to our clients’ needs. We do that through our traditional sales force that is organized by product, sector and geography, as well as through our e-Sales professionals who are spearheading the build out of our electronic offering, including the development of J.P. Morgan Markets.
Clients also have access to dedicated structuring professionals who generate actionable trade ideas and develop unique solutions that address specific client requirements. Additionally, the Global Investor Client Management (ICM) team works closely with our largest, most-active clients to connect them to the firm’s offerings that meet their unique needs.
Responsibilities
As an Analyst in the Taiwan Local Markets Sales team you will be responsible for the day-to-day client servicing and execution of trades on the desk. Your client base will Local Taiwan listed corporates and their subsidiaries, Global Multi-national corporates, and financial institutions. You will work with our partners in trading, structuring and research to provide comprehensive client coverage, including providing clients with trade ideas and market intelligence. You will be responsible for the end-to-end trade execution process including taking client orders, covering risk with traders, booking of the trades, and providing general sales support for post-trade operations for clients across the desk. You will assist seniors in the team in active client relationship management, developing client account strategies to deepen existing client wallets as well as prospecting new clients.
You will need to demonstrate proficiency in understanding market drivers and identifying product opportunities while showing a high degree of interest in learning about the business, balance sheet, credit and financial risk management of institutional clients. . The ideal candidate should be a team player with a strong intellectual curiosity, a high degree of organization and attention to detail, and the ability to perform well under high pressure situations with the appropriate degree of urgency and integrity.
Product coverage includes FX and Rates.
Qualifications:

• Entrepreneurial drive with strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Demonstrable proficiency with market and product lingo. Understands transaction cycle and the steps in the process and is execution oriented.
• Ability to thrive on the challenge of competitive pressures and remain focused on client needs
• Ability to communicate concepts and ideas, both verbally and via documentation, and be able to defend their validity and target messages to different audiences; internal partners and clients
• Ability to interact comfortably with business clients and management.
• Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently
• Language skills in spoken and written Mandarin and English
• 1 to 2 years’ experience will be a plus.
Languages: English and Mandarin fluency is essential
