Title: Product and Marketing Intern
Department: Product and Marketing teams *2
Reports To: Line Managers


Department Description
The Product and Marketing Departments are collaboratively seeking two interns who will rotate between the two teams, gaining comprehensive knowledge and experience across both areas.

By rotating between these two departments, the interns will develop an international perspective and a holistic understanding of Schroders Taiwan’s strategic commitments, ensuring they gain valuable insights into both product management and innovative marketing practices. The shared goal is to embody Schroders’ mission of taking care of what matters most to our clients.

Purpose of your role
The Product and Marketing Departments are seeking two interns who will rotate between the teams to gain comprehensive knowledge. As Marketing Assistants, the interns will primarily support various marketing content production, regular reporting, client/ corporate event supporting and translation tasks. As Product Assistants, they will develop an understanding of product and market knowledge and product development skills for effective communication. Responsibilities include delivering timely product materials, supporting market report communications, managing client offering documents, and building a database to achieve business goals.

Key Responsibilities
▪️Collaborate with team members to meet channel marketing requests from the Client group, including the production and delivery of marketing materials. Support the team with regular tasks such as filing marketing materials with regulatory bodies like SITCA, editing content on the website CMS, and consolidating and summarizing daily news exposure. Demonstrate a quick grasp of marketing terminology and refine/translate materials as needed.
▪️Deliver high-quality, accurate work to ensure compliance with business and regulatory standards. This requires close collaboration and regular reporting to marketing officers.
▪️Participate in marketing campaign projects as a team member, contributing to overall planning, content and creative planning, analytics, and event support.
▪️The ideal candidate owns good capability in content creation by all marketing formats and is analytical, innovative and execution-excellence
▪️Research financial market and Schroders product. Come up with an investment idea/theme/report to enhance the content and deliver timely materials.
▪️Survey industry product offering enhance the quality of Schroders product sales kit, and help building up product information and market database.
▪️Analyze new products to the market and client requirements. Support product development projects to bring new product into the market

Experience and Qualifications Required
▪️Major in Economics, Marketing or Finance related study.

The team is dedicated to working closely with our clients to provide portfolios that are structured in line with their long-term performance objectives.

Purpose of your role
The position is responsible in market research analysis, investment tools / models development, product strategy research and research / presentation database buildup, etc.

Key Responsibilities
▪️Fixed Income market research / product presentation database build up
▪️Macro economic research and market analysis
▪️Support ESG Investment implementation in Fixed Income team
▪️Support Fixed Income portfolio manager to conduct relevant research included portfolio analysis, etc.

The Taiwan Equity Investment team is part of Asian Equity team that the managed asset is rapidly grown in both absolute and relative return strategies. The team focuses on investment management and research to meet with the clients’ demands on Taiwan equity investment as the first priority as always, where it involves Taiwan market/stocks research, investment strategy development, portfolio management and etc.
Purpose of your role
The position is responsible in market research analysis, investment tools / models development, investment strategy research and research / presentation database buildup, etc.

Key Responsibilities
▪️Conduct fundamental analysis of the effectiveness of ETF/Derivatives implementation for portfolio hedge and performance enhancement purpose

Department: Client Group *2

Department Description
The Client Group department is pivotal in cultivating client relationships and distributing investment products through diverse channels, including both Institutional and Intermediary. Acting as a bridge between our products and clients, it facilitates communication and ensures that offerings align with client needs and market demands. Exceptional client support is at the core of this department's activities, making it essential for driving business growth.

Purpose of your role
As part of the Client Group internship program, this role focuses on providing active assistance in Client Group Support while gaining valuable exposure to the broader functions. The Support responsibilities extend across several service areas, such as client onboarding, product onboarding, agreement review, account opening KYC, operational troubleshooting (transfer agency), Salesforce management, ongoing AML due diligence, trailer payment verification, and handling investor inquiries. The intern will also benefit from learning opportunities in the Intermediary and Institutional business to enhance their experience and skill set.
In this Role, You Will:
• Support Client Due Diligence: Assist in ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards by actively contributing to client due diligence processes.
• Support Business Requests: Provide timely and insightful support for ad-hoc product requests and related tasks.
• Engage in Strategic Projects: Participate in the Intermediary and Institutional project study, gaining valuable exposure to real-world challenges and innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities
▪️Provide translated summary for various fund updates and reports
▪️Provide and update financial industry analysis, including insurance asset allocation analysis, insurance product analysis, FoF analysis, and various ad-hoc projects.
▪️KYC Database maintenance
▪️Prepare Daily Screening Review report and resolve screening alerts
▪️Follow-up investigations on WorldCheck hits, FSC penalty announcement, negative news
▪️Conduct Individual Screening and finalize Review report (ASL, MOEA changes etc)
▪️Ongoing AML/KYC Solution support
▪️To assist with ongoing FI sanction log, Financial Crime Mgmt Info
▪️To assist with regular AML requests from distributors (UBO & Senior Mgmt declaration, Internal Control Declaration)
▪️To assist with new AC opening KYC documentation
▪️To assist with ad-hoc requests from the Client Group and the regulator (inspection, survey, etc.)

Schroders Multi-Asset team has a longstanding tradition in the multi-asset business and has been managing multi-asset portfolios since the 1940s. It is one of the best resourced in the industry, with over 90 professionals globally. The team is committed to closely collaborating with clients to build portfolios aligned with their long-term performance goals. The Taiwan Multi-Asset Investment team, part of this global network, manages around USD 3 billion in assets, covering various multi-asset solution strategies. The team focuses on investment management and investment solution development for the clients’ demands in Taiwan Market, where it involves market/asset research, investment strategy development, portfolio management / construction and etc.

Purpose of your role
This role primarily involves assisting in the preparation of reports for the Taiwan Multi-Asset Team, including but not limited to bi-weekly and monthly reports. You will also aid with weekly macro market updates and research underlying investment vehicles. Additionally, you will support the team in conducting research on macroeconomic topics or specific studies related to equities or fixed income products.

Key Responsibilities
▪️Prepare bi-weekly and monthly reports (including data proofreading and market commentary writing).
▪️Maintain the weekly macroeconomic and investment pool databases.
▪️Provide ad-hoc market analysis, product research, or related reporting support.
▪️Develop tools and models for the selection and allocation of multi-asset investment instruments (Funds/ETFs), including quantitative and qualitative research.
