Department Description
Schroders Investment team has a longstanding tradition in the equity business and also being one of the best resourced in the industry, with over 420 professionals (portfolio managers and analysts) globally. The team is dedicated to working closely with our clients to provide portfolios that are structured in line with their long-term performance objectives. The Taiwan Equity Investment team is part of Asian Equity team that the managed asset is rapidly grown in both absolute and relative return strategies. The team focuses on investment management and research to meet with the clients’ demands on Taiwan equity investment as the first priority as always, where it involves Taiwan market/stocks research, investment strategy development, portfolio management and etc.
Purpose of your role
The position is responsible in market research analysis, investment tools / models development, investment strategy research and research / presentation database buildup, etc.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct fundamental analysis of the effectiveness of ETF/Derivatives implementation for portfolio hedge and performance enhancement purpose
- Build up Equity research / product presentation database
- Develop Equity investment tools and streamline process
- Support ESG Investment implementation in Taiwan equity team
- Build & update industries/macro database
Experience and Qualifications Required
- Major in Finance or Engineering related.
- Solid analytical and mathematical capability.
- Fluent Speaking/Reading/Writing skills in English
- Expert skills in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, PowerPoint & Excel
- Familiar with database, specifically Bloomberg and Cmoney
- Programing skill, specifically Python and VBA is needed.
- Work with passion and willingness to handle multi-tasks.
- Preferred with SITE license
