You are eligible to apply if you:

  • Are a currently pursuing an Undergraduate/master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline with an expected graduation date of December 2026 – June 2027

  • Able to commit to a one-year off-cycle internship, working 40 hours per week during July and August 2026, and 20 hours per week from September 2026 through June 2027.

  • Candidates who are available to commit for a period of 6 months are welcome to apply.

  • Proficient in Mandarin and English, both written and verbal.

See yourself as an Account Analyst: 

  • Learning and Development: Acquire knowledge of fixed income securities, portfolio management techniques, and macroeconomic factors while developing key skills relevant to PIMCO’s investment professionals.

  • Data and Content Support: Assist Account Managers by researching market, product, and portfolio data. Provide fund commentaries, compile and present financial industry analyses, including institutional asset allocation, product analysis, Fund of Funds , and various ad-hoc projects.

  • Portfolio Analysis: Analyze portfolio characteristics in the context of broader investment themes and assist in elaborating portfolio risks and performance attribution.

  • Tool Utilization: Effectively use of basic office tools such as Excel spreadsheets, and macros. Proficiency in financial query tools such as Bloomberg Terminal and Lipper IM.
