Department Description
The Product and Marketing Teams are seeking two interns, each primarily assigned to either the Product team or the Marketing team, while working in close collaboration with both functions. Although interns will not rotate formally between teams, they will gain exposure to cross functional collaboration and develop a solid understanding of how Product and Marketing work together to support Schroders Taiwan’s business objectives. Where appropriate, interns may provide backup support on similar or shared tasks (such as weekly market highlight summaries), fostering teamwork and operational flexibility. This role offers valuable hands on experience in asset management while supporting Schroders’ mission of taking care of what matters most to our clients.

Purpose of the Role
The intern will primarily support either the Product team or the Marketing team, depending on the role hired, while maintaining flexibility to assist with overlapping tasks when needed.
Marketing Intern: Support marketing content production, reporting, event execution, and translation tasks.
Product Intern: Support product and market research, product materials preparation, data management, and product development initiatives.
Through this role, the intern will build practical knowledge of financial markets, Schroders’ product offerings, and professional communication in a regulated asset management environment.

Key Responsibilities
o Common Responsibilities (Applicable to Both Roles)
o Support regular team operations and ad hoc projects with accuracy, timeliness, and attention to detail.
o Assist with weekly market highlights or similar shared deliverables when backup support is required.
o Collaborate closely with team members and report progress to line managers.
o Ensure work meets internal standards and regulatory requirements.

Marketing Intern – Key Responsibilities
o Support channel marketing requests from the Client Group, including the production and delivery of marketing materials, and assist in preparing weekly marketing highlights.
o Support website content updates via CMS and consolidate daily/weekly media or news summaries.
o Conduct B2C-focused market research and marketing monitoring, including observing competitor campaigns, digital content, and social media trends.
o Assist in marketing campaigns, including content support, basic performance tracking, and event execution.
o Edit, refine, and translate marketing materials (Chinese ↔ English) as needed
Product Intern – Key Responsibilities
o Conduct research on financial markets and Schroders products.
o Assist in preparing and maintaining product materials, client offering documents, and market reports.
o Support product development initiatives, including market analysis, competitor research, and client requirement assessments.
o Help build and maintain product, market, and industry databases to support business objectives.
o Contribute investment ideas, themes, or insights to enhance product communication materials.

Experience and Qualifications Required
o Major in Economics, Finance, Marketing, or related disciplines.
o Strong English and Chinese communication skills (written and verbal).
o Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
o Solid analytical and numerical skills.
o Highly motivated, detail oriented, and willing to handle multiple tasks.
o Strong interest in learning about the asset management industry.
o Preferred Qualifications:SITE license.
o Python or other coding / data analysis skill sets.
